The Design Rationale
I chose 3D type and hand rendered cardboard stencils to be layered together within my final outcome. I perceived the tone of 'Viva la Vida' to be spiteful with the narrator (an ex king) reminiscent of their power they had once. Within the design I wanted to show this downwards spiral of their power in correlation to anger. The ink becoming more splattered and unstructured with scale being increased created this tone from the song.
